Beneficios del extracto de orégano para controlar mancha foliar en el cultivo de arroz, provincia de Rioja, San Martín

Abstract

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo describir los beneficios del uso de extracto de orégano (Origanum sp) para controlar mancha foliar en el cultivo de arroz, provincia de Rioja, San Martín. Respecto a la metodología, el estudio fue de tipo descriptivo y exploratorio, utilizando fuentes y antecedentes bibliográficos confiables de los últimos 5 años, se realizó una caracterización del área afectada por la mancha foliar, también se explicó los impactos del uso de extracto de orégano en el control de la mancha foliar. Donde al final se concluye que el área afectada por la mancha foliar en el cultivo de arroz en la cuenca de la provincia de Rioja existen 16 177,93h-1 siendo las de mayor área Nueva Cajamarca, Rioja y Naranjillo, el 7,2% en promedio se encuentran afectadas por problema de mancha foliar en el cultivo siendo las afectadas nueva Cajamarca y Yuracyacu con 9% y 8% generando un costo económico adicional al productor para el control de este hongo. Los impactos del uso del extracto de orégano (Oreganum vulgare) en el control de la mancha foliar en el cultivo de arroz son tanto económicos, sociales y ambientales en las fases del cultivo, reduce el uso de agroquímicos, controla enfermedades, mayor número de macollos resistencia al stress, mayor número de plantas, mejor desarrollo radicular, reduce el uso de fertilizantes sintéticos, costo de producción, número de granos vanos causado por el hongo, es una buena alternativa orgánica para obtener buena calidad y productividad de este cultivo.

The objective of this study was to describe the benefits of using oregano extract (Origanum sp) to control leaf spot in rice crops in the province of Rioja, San Martin. Regarding the methodology, the study was descriptive and exploratory, using reliable sources and bibliographic background of the last 5 years. A characterization of the area affected by leaf spot was carried out, and the impacts of the use of oregano extract in the control of leaf spot were also explained. It is concluded that the area affected by leaf spot in the rice crop in the basin of the province of Rioja is 16,177.93ha-1 , with the largest areas being Nueva Cajamarca, Rioja and Naranjillo, 7.2% on average are affected by leaf spot in the crop, with Nueva Cajamarca and Yuracyacu being affected with 9% and 8%, generating an additional economic cost to the producer for the control of this fungus. The impacts of the use of oregano extract (Oreganum vulgare) in the control of leaf spot of rice are economic, social and environmental: in the crop stages, it reduces the use of agrochemicals, controls diseases, greater number of tillers, resistance to stress, greater number of plants, better root development, reduces the use of synthetic fertilizers, production cost, number of empty grains caused by the fungus. It is a good organic alternative to obtain good quality and productivity of this crop.
