Evaluación comparativa de las características físico – mecánicas del cemento Portland Tipo I WAN PENG PERÚ

A pesar de la importancia del cemento como constituyente fundamental en la fabricación de nuevas variantes que cumplan con los criterios esenciales de N.T.P. (temperatura y presión normales), existe un desconocimiento sobre las propiedades mecánicas-físicas del cemento Wang Peng y sus posibles modificaciones durante el proceso de producción. El objetivo de este estudio fue realizar un examen comparativo de las propiedades físico-mecánicas de varias marcas de cemento Portland accesibles en las zonas norte y centro del Perú. Se hizo especial énfasis en el tipo I WAN PENG PERU. El estudio de numerosas características, tales como densidad, finura, tiempo de fraguado, resistencia, contenido de aire y expansión, permitió asegurar que se cumplieron satisfactoriamente las normas mínimas señaladas en la N.T.P 334.009. En resumen, se ha comprobado que el Cemento Portland WAN PENG Tipo I, de fácil acceso en las regiones norte y centro del Perú, cumple con los criterios de calidad especificados en la N.T.P 334.009. Además, es importante reconocer que las características físicas y mecánicas del cemento pueden mostrar variabilidad debido a los aditivos particulares utilizados en cada lote único.

Benchmarking of the physical-mechanical characteristics of portland cement type I WAN PENG PERU

Despite the importance of cement as a fundamental constituent in the manufacture of new variants that meet the essential criteria of N.T.P. (normal temperature and pressure), there is a lack of knowledge about the mechanical-physical properties of Wang Peng cement and its possible modifications during the production process. The objective of this study was to carry out a comparative examination of the physical-mechanical properties of several brands of Portland cement available in northern and central Peru. Special emphasis was placed on type I WAN PENG PERU. The study of numerous characteristics, such as density, fineness, setting time, strength, air content and expansion, made it possible to ensure that the minimum standards indicated in N.T.P 334.009 were satisfactorily met. In summary, it has been proven that WAN PENG Type I Portland Cement, easily available in the northern and central regions of Peru, meets the quality criteria specified in N.T.P 334.009. In addition, it is important to recognize that the physical and mechanical characteristics of the cement may show variability due to the particular additives used in each unique batch.
