Gestión ambiental y su relación con el manejo integral de residuos sólidos del terminal terrestre municipal de Rioja, San Martín

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación titulado “Gestión ambiental y su relación con el manejo integral de residuos sólidos del terminal terrestre municipal de Rioja, San Martín”, fue llevado a cabo para determinar la relación entre las variables de manejo integral de residuos sólidos y gestión ambiental, cuya área de estudio fue el terminal terrestre municipal de Rioja, San Martín. La metodología empleada fue la aplicación de encuestas y la observación directa en campo para el desarrollo del diagnóstico situacional actual del área de estudio referente al manejo adecuado de los residuos sólidos. Como resultados se determinó un escaso conocimiento sobre el correcto manejo de los residuos y al mismo tiempo no existe conciencia ambiental acerca del grave problema que genera en el ambiente el inadecuado manejo, por lo cual adquirir conocimientos y tener conciencia y cultura ambiental conlleva a minimizar la problemática del mal manejo de los residuos sólidos en el terminal terrestre de Rioja.

The present research entitled "Environmental management and its relationship with the integrated solid waste management of the municipal land terminal of Rioja, San Martín" was carried out to determine the relationship between the variables of integrated solid waste management and environmental management, whose area of study was the municipal land terminal of Rioja, San Martín. The methodology consisted of the application of surveys and direct observation in the field for the development of a situational diagnosis of the current situation in the study area regarding the adequate management of solid waste. As a result, it was determined that there is little knowledge about the correct management of waste and at the same time there is no environmental awareness about the serious problem that inadequate management generates in the environment. Therefore, acquiring knowledge and having environmental awareness and culture leads to minimizing the problem of poor solid waste management in the land terminal of Rioja.
