Identificación de las fallas del asfaltado y propuesta de alternativas para mejorar la transitabilidad del Tramo: Pongo de Caynarachi a Barranquita, Lamas 2022

Abstract

El concurrente trabajo de investigación se llevó a cabo con el objeto de identificar y evaluar la infraestructura vial del Tramo: Pongo de Caynarachi a Barranquita, la cual presenta un considerable deterioro a nivel de asfaltado que afecta el tránsito vehicular y a su vez al comercio existente de las localidades anexas al tramo en mención. Los objetivos a cumplir en la presente tesis son, identificar las fallas del asfaltado, determinar los problemas relacionados con la transitabilidad, plantear propuestas de alternativas para mejorar la transitabilidad y determinar la influencia de la identificación de fallas del asfaltado en la propuesta de alternativas. El presente proyecto se realizó en el Tramo: Pongo de Caynarachi a Barranquita ubicada en la provincia de Lamas del Departamento de San Martín. El periodo de evaluación tuvo una duración de cuatro meses, desde agosto hasta noviembre del presente año. Se realizaron las actividades principales de reconocimiento en campo para la identificación de fallas en el asfaltado del tramo mencionado, en los cuales se encontraron diferentes tipos de fallas en diferentes progresivas, éstos fueron clasificados de acuerdo al tipo y nivel de gravedad de acuerdo al Manual de Carreteras (MC-08-14 – Mantenimiento o Conservación Vial Parte IV) obteniendo así información de la situación actual, y mediante teoría referenciada al tema, plantear propuestas de mejora. Se obtuvo un inventario de condición con fotografías en las progresivas donde se encontraron las fallas en el asfalto a lo largo del tramo, así como los planos (ubicación y de identificación de fallas). Finalmente, se plantearon las alternativas de acuerdo a la problemática existente en el tramo para el adecuado mantenimiento o rehabilitación de la carretera.

The purpose of this research work was to identify and evaluate the road infrastructure of the Pongo de Caynarachi to Barranquita section, which shows a considerable deterioration of the asphalt that affects vehicular traffic and at the same time the existing commerce of the towns adjacent to the mentioned section. The objectives of this thesis are to identify asphalt failures, determine the problems related to trafficability, propose alternatives to improve trafficability and determine the influence of the identification of asphalt failures in the proposal of alternatives. This project was carried out in the Pongo de Caynarachi to Barranquita section, located in the province of Lamas in the Department of San Martin. The evaluation period lasted four months, from August to November of the current year. The main field reconnaissance activities were carried out to identify faults in the asphalt of the aforementioned section, in which different types of faults were found in different stages. They were classified by type and severity level according to the Highway Manual (MC-08-14 - Road Maintenance or Conservation Part IV), thereby obtaining information about the current situation in order to propose improvement proposals by using theory related to the subject. A condition inventory was obtained with photographs of the progressives where asphalt failures were found along the stretch, as well as the plans (location and identification of failures). Finally, alternatives were proposed for the adequate maintenance or rehabilitation of the road according to the existing problems in the section.
