Vivencias del paciente con insuficiencia renal crónica sometido a diálisis peritoneal en la provincia de San Martín, agosto – diciembre 2020

Abstract

El presente trabajo es un estudio de naturaleza cualitativa de abordaje fenomenológico tiene como informantes a los pacientes con Enfermedad Renal Crónica sometidos a Diálisis Peritoneal, teniendo como objetivo: analizar comprensivamente las vivencias del paciente con Insuficiencia Renal Crónica sometido a Diálisis Peritoneal, en la Provincia de San Martín, agosto – diciembre 2020. Donde la muestra estuvo representada por 05 pacientes, quienes reunían los requisitos para la recolección de datos realizando la entrevista con la siguiente pregunta orientadora. ¿Cuénteme cómo vive y cómo es su día a día, teniendo en cuenta su enfermedad (ERC) y el tratamiento de la Diálisis Peritoneal al que debe someterse a diario? Se considera que la entrevista con la pregunta orientadora permitió la expresión de los pacientes, develando aspectos y matices sobre su experiencia vivida al realizarse el tratamiento de diálisis peritoneal, a partir de la descripción, reducción y comprensión fenomenológica se obtuvo las siguientes convergencias: El inadecuado tratamiento a pesar de conocer sobre la diabetes mellitus tipo 2, la hipertensión arterial y otras enfermedades causales de la insuficiencia renal crónica. Estado de Salud al momento del diagnóstico de la enfermedad, sintomatología y estado emocional. Actitud frente al manejo de la Enfermedad Renal Crónica, búsqueda alterna y modos de afrontamiento. Inicio del tratamiento con la Diálisis Peritoneal, complicaciones y aprendizaje. Apoyo incondicional y soporte familiar para el paciente con Enfermedad Renal Crónica durante el tratamiento de la Diálisis Peritoneal, donde fueron interpretadas para mejor comprensión. Los hallazgos develan que estos pacientes se enfrentan a un futuro incierto, pero con el tiempo logra la autenticidad tomando el control de sus vidas e integrando la enfermedad como parte de ella.

The present work is a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach whose informants are patients with Chronic Kidney Disease undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis, having as objective: to comprehensively analyze the experiences of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis in the Province of San Martín, August - December 2020. The sample was represented by 05 patients, who met the requirements for data collection by conducting the interview with the following guiding question: Tell me how do you live and what is your day-to-day life like, considering your disease (CKD) and the Peritoneal Dialysis treatment you have to undergo every day? It is considered that the interview with the guiding question allowed the expression of the patients, revealing aspects and nuances about their lived experience when undergoing peritoneal dialysis treatment, based on the description, reduction and phenomenological understanding, the following convergences were obtained: Inadequate treatment despite knowing about type 2 diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension and other diseases that cause chronic renal failure. Health status at the time of diagnosis of the disease, symptomatology and emotional state. Attitude towards the management of CKD, alternative search and ways of coping. Peritoneal dialysis treatment initiation, complications and learning. Unconditional support and family support for the CKD patient during PD treatment, where they were interpreted for better understanding. The findings reveal that these patients face an uncertain future, but eventually achieve authenticity by taking control of their lives and integrating the disease as part of it.
