Estado nutricional y su relación con el rendimiento académico en el área de matemática de los niños y niñas del primer grado a, b, c, y d del nivel de educación primaria de la institución educativa integrada Cleofé Arévalo Del Águila distrito de la Banda de Shilcayo – 2016

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación, se desarrolló con finalidad de “Determinar la relación que existe entre el Estado Nutricional y el Rendimiento Académico en el Área de Matemática de los niños y niñas del Primer Grado A, B, C y D del Nivel de Educación Primaria de la Institución Educativa Integrada “Cleofé Arévalo del Águila” del Distrito de la Banda de Shilcayo, en el año 2016” El tipo de investigación que se desarrolló fue: Básica, y el diseño de investigación empleado fue el descriptivo correlacional. La población muestral de las 4 secciones del Primer Grado fue de 91 estudiantes; para ello se empleó la muestra probabilística del tipo estratificado. Como resultado de la investigación se llegó a la siguiente conclusión en base al Objetivo General: No existe relación significativa entre el Estado Nutricional con referencia al Índice de Masa Corporal (IMC) y el Rendimiento Académico en el área de Matemática en los niños y niñas del Primer Grado A, B, C, y D del Nivel de Educación Primaria de la I.E Integrada “Cleofé Arévalo Del Águila”, debido a que los resultados obtenidos sobre el coeficiente de correlación múltiple se obtuvo un valor calculado de y un valor tabular de verificando que el valor calculado se acepta la hipótesis nula. De igual manera No existe relación significativa entre el Estado Nutricional con referencia a la Talla/Edad (T/E) y el Rendimiento Académico en el área de Matemática en los niños y niñas del Primer Grado A, B, C, y D del Nivel de Educación Primaria de la I.E. Integrada “Cleofé Arévalo Del Águila ”, debido a que los resultados obtenidos sobre el coeficiente de correlación múltiple se obtuvo un valor calculado de y un valor tabular de verificando que el valor calculado se acepta la hipótesis nula con una confianza del 95%.

The present research work was developed in order to determine the relationship between the nutritional status and the academic performance in the area of mathematics of children of the first grade A, B, C and D of the level of primary education of the educational institution "Cleofe Arevalo del Aguila" from the district of the Banda de Shilcayo, in 2016. The type of research that was developed was basic, and the research design used was the descriptive correlations. The sample population of 4 sections of the first grade was 91 students; For this purpose, the probabilistic sample of the stratified type was used. As a result of the research, the following conclusion was reached based on the General Objective: There is no significant relationship between the Nutritional State with reference to the Body Mass Index (BMI) and the academic performance in the area of mathematics in boys and girls of the first grade A, B, C and D of the level of primary education of the integrated EI "Cleofe Arevalo del Aguila", because the results obtained on the multiple correlation coefficient were obtained a calculated value of γS = 2,461 and a tabular value of γ α = 0,652 verifying that the calculated value accepts the null hypothesis. Similarly, there is no significant relationship between the Nutritional State with reference to size/age (S/A) and academic performance in the area of mathematics in boys and girls of first grade A, B, C and D of the level of primary education of the Integrated Educational Institution "Cleofe Arevalo del Aguila", because the results obtained on the multiple correlation coefficient obtained a calculated value of γS = 1,895 and a tabular value of γ α = 0,388 verifying that the calculated value accepts the null hypothesis with a confidence of 95%.
