Abstract: This cross-sectional descriptive trial was conducted using information on the spot; encuestandose included a total of 1156 adolescent girls in the age group of 15-19 years old; population that was assigned proportionately using simple random sampling with a maximum error of 2% to the groups corresponding to the secondary schools, colleges and universities in the district of Tarapoto in order to know some aspects of reproductive health of our teenagers. It was found that 62.12% of adolescents are sexually active; the average age of first sexual intercourse is 13.83 years, the level of knowledge about sexually transmitted diseases is bad in 80.40 percent; the average age at which they received sexual education for the first time is 13 years; It is the first school where they receive; the level of knowledge about sexuality is bad in 89.80 percent; only 23.70% of adolescents use contraception, the rhythm method being the most widely accepted with 15.22 percent; the incidence of abortions is 14.27% and the incidence of rape is 3.80 percent.
Este ensayo descriptivo transversal se realizó utilizando la información in situ; encuestandose un total de 1156 mujeres adolescentes comprendidas en el grupo etáreo de 15 a 19 años de edad; población que se asigno proporcionalmente utilizando el muestreo aleatorio simple con un error máximo del 2% a los grupos correspondientes a los colegios secundarios, institutos superiores y universidades del distrito de Tarapoto con la finalidad de conocer algunos aspectos sobre salud reproductiva de nuestras adolecentes. Antes iniciar el traajo sobre el terreno se capacito a las personas que participaron en la recoleccion de datos, se fectuo pruebas piloto a). Para obtener el tamaño de muestra representativa y adecuada. b). Para evaluar la idoneidad y claridad de cada pregunta e identificar las preguntas problematicas. Las fichas de registro fueron anónimas y no se permitió la singularización de la muestra. Se encontró que el 62.12% de los adolescentes tienen vida sexual activa; la edad promedio de inicio de relaciones sexuales es de 13.83 años, el nivel de conocimiento sobre enfermedades venéreas es mala en un 80.40 por ciento; la edad promedio en que recibieron educación sexual por vez primera es de 13 años; siendo el colegio el primer lugar donde lo reciben; el nivel de conocimiento sobre sexualidad es mala en un 89.80 por ciento; solo el 23.70 % de adolecentes utilizan métodos anticonceptivos, siendo el método del ritmo el de mayor aceptación con un 15.22 por ciento; la incidencia de abortos es de 14.27 % y la incidencia de violaciones es de 3.80 por ciento.
